Commencing from two choices of Christmas Eve Dinner at either Portraits Restaurant or By The Water, Christmas Day is celebrated with a Beach Barbecue and the New Year’s Eve Dinner is at Bali’s grandest ballroom the Nusa Indah Hall. The first day of 2005 is commemorated in a special Westin Brunch at Ikan Restaurant on the beach. “We expect a good crowd from Europe, Russia and of course the domestic market this coming year end, making the resort’s occupancy one of the highest and most colourful one for the entire year,” commented the resort’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Tabatha Ramsay, on the season’s celebrations. A Westin elegant dinner for Christmas Eve is set at Bali’s leading modern dining restaurant, Portraits with live music entertainment by the restaurant’s resident pianist and a duo from Australia, Soul Therapy. The four course menu is priced at US$65++ per person including a charming Christmas gift to close the night. For family fun with gifts galore, guests may opt for a Christmas Eve dinner By The Water entertained by Westin Magician and Balloonist as well as Santa Claus in special appearance. The buffet is priced at US$50++ per person. Children under 12 years old attending either dinners receive a 50% discount on the food prices while those under 3 years of age dine for free. To welcome the first few moments of 2005, family and friends may gather for a cocktail before being ushered into the luxurious setting of Bali’s largest and most grandiose ballroom, for an unforgettable dinner in modern luxury, entertained by Blue Signal Band. The buffet of seafood and international cuisines including welcome cocktail drinks is priced at US$155++ per person. A separate kids programme is available at The Veranda at US$30++ per child. After a night of dining and dancing, a Brunch at Ikan Restaurant starts the first day of the new year. Overlooking the Nusa Dua beach, guests may enjoy an array of cold and hot dishes prepared by the Executive Chef of the resort, Markus Krickelberg.
