ENERGIC GENERAL MANAGER SETS GOALS FOR THE NEWEST HOTEL IN KUTA

Bali, April 2004 … Harris Management Indonesia has appointed Jean-Charles Le Coz as General Manager for its newest property on Kuta Beach, Harris Resort Kuta. The innovative and stylish resort is set to welcome its guests for a simple and friendly experience in mid May 2004.
Le Coz began his career in the hospitality industry in 1990 as a trainee in the Food and Beverage Department at Novotel Lausanne-Bussigny, a four-star luxury hotel. Having learned about the operational aspects of a resort, two years later Le Coz further expanded his knowledge in the Front Office Department at Hotel L’Horset Opera in Paris. He then set foot on the beautiful island of Bali at Grand Hyatt in Bali in August 1993 as a Management Trainee. Returning to Bali 3 years later following a position as Executive Assistant Manager in Novotel Phuket, Le Coz joined Novotel Benoa Bali as the Rooms Division Manager for two years.
His career at the top level management of a hotel began when he moved from Bali to take up the position of Resident Manager at Alila Jakarta and was later promoted to Acting General Manager in 2001. His extensive experience in setting and opening a hotel began at Alila, a four-star boutique hotel that was opened as the first ever- contemporary hotel in Jakarta under his guidance.
Prior to his current position, Le Coz was consultant, representing the owning company at the Hotel Sahid Raya Bali and was initiator of a new innovative concept for Harris Resort Kuta. Le Coz believes that travelers of today are seeking much more than

just a hotel room and a holiday destination, it needs to be a combination of both experience and satisfaction. With creative ideas, he guides his team to initiate activities in a simple, friendly and fun concept.
“I have faith in my team, in this new hotel concept and the services and facilities that we are going to offer, once the resort operates in early May. Harris Resort Kuta will stand out from the other hotels in Kuta, even though we realize that competition will be very tight.
